TAXI COMMUNION AT ST. PATRICKS
Photographs by Stefan Hartwig

Just returned from NYC. Good trip, with some time to stop and smell the traffic. Love the place.
On our last night there, we walked from the Guggenheim to Bryant Park, stopping along the way for photos. This is a sequence of (handheld) time-lapse shots of traffic on 5th avenue. A tripod would have been lovely, but lugging it the 70-or-so blocks we walked that day might have killed me.
More soon….

Beautiful shot and a beautiful church too. Especially on the inside.
I really dig those people in focus contrasting the moving cabs. Very moody. You did well without the tripod.

Yeah, beautiful church. Haven’t been inside. Next trip!
