




This series represents a pretty different experience for me, compared to my typical kind of shoot. Architecture doesn’t make this much noise, and there’s rarely a threat that it will run you over when you aren’t looking. That, mixed together with the fact that most of the people were looking at me like an outsider, and I was fighting the urge to leave the entire time.Once I settled in a bit though, it was fun stuff. Sidenote: At one point, the woman in no. 5 approached me and asked me what I was doing. After I explained, she implored me to get a shot of the “trucks with faces on them, cause those are cool”, which I did (no. 4).
